43. Livestock show - Agricultural Party 2010

As tradition, each year, after the returning of the animals from the summer pastures, on the 21st of September, the autumn fair with the exposition of the best animals of the Livigno village.

The peasants used to decorate their animals the best they could.

Today is the fair an occasion to improve the race: in the morning there is the exposition of the animals close to the dairy. The experts of the "Bruna" cow will prepare a ranking for all categories. 

The day goes on with music, songs, a good lunch prepared with the "Gruppo Alpini" of Livigno.

In the evening party of the agriculture: exposition and tasting of the alp cheeses as introduction of the big evening dedicated to the peasants of the valley.

A great dinner with local products and the price giving ceremony of the best animals of each category and of the best cheeses. An occasion to tell the adventures of the summer on the alp and party the big work done during the whole season.

The party is open to everyone.
