Pass Gallo
The Munt la Schera Tunnel is a one-way road tunnel located in the Swiss canton of Grisons. It connects the Engadin valley with Lago di Livigno.
The tunnel is only open during the day:
- on Monday: 06:00-20:00
- from Tuesday to Sunday: 08:00-20:00
Opened for public transport in 1968, initially the tunnel was used to transport building materials for the construction of Punt dal Gall dam.
As of June 2008 the tunnel is closed for bicycles, but there is a Shuttle service that will carry them thru the tunnel.
